Scoring a Double Play

In the game today there was a double play and I am not sure that I scored it correctly in iScore and I thought I would toss it out to the experts. Here is the situation:

Leadoff batter walks and is on first. Second batter hits a sinking line drive that the SS snags off her shoe top and doubles off the runner on first.

The way I entered this iScore shows: DP6 for the second batter for out 1 and FO2 for the leadoff for out 2. Is this correct or did I goof?

Thanks.

Probably would score like this in the future:

Out
Line Drive
Touch location of hit, Next
SS - 1B
Done
Out
First
Double Play

I really need to explore the use of the "out" button. I think it might be handy to hear from FTM or another very experienced user a primer of sorts on when to use the "out" button as opposed to "in play" and then "out" (as opposed to the "safe" menu), etc. Until now, I had assumed that the "out" button was simply a shortcut option that could be swiped for common plays (6-3, 4-3, etc.). Is there some good advice about a "best practice" and how to make the best use of this button?

In Play, then Out is the same as just clicking Out directly (clicking Out saves a step). Basically, if the Batter hits into an Out, you would click the Out button to go straight to the reason why the batter made an out. If the Batter reaches base, click the "In Play" to go straight to the reasons a batter could be safe on base.
