New way of embedding external photos

We have added the ability to recognize the "<EMBED...>" tag when creating an external reference to photo albums (intead of just an http://.." onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. reference). This allows embedding of Flash based photo albums. Picassa has an option to create a Flash based photo album, and if you take the EMBED tag from that and put it on the Photos page, it gets around the IE8 issue with embedded content.

Coach, can you share the site that you've created? I'd be interested in how you used the embed code as suggested. I wish there were the ability to see thumbnails, and then once selected photos that have been resized for you when uploaded to a resolution defined by admin.

We will have to add the same functionality to the Player Spotlights... it is currently only available on the Team Websites, but we will make it available on Player Spotlights as well.

Brent,
The site address is:
http://baseball.iscorecentral.com/csthunder" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I replaced the iframe tag I had before with the embed tag that is generated by picasawebs. Had it fixed in just a couple of minutes.
Go to your web albums, select the album to embed. On the right-side (about half-way down) is a link "Link to this album" - click that.
You will see two links - one for a frame and one for email. Under those is the Embed Slideshow link - click that. Configure your options and copy the HTML in the box to your page. I link this method much better than the iframe. Gives you more control over how big and where it is positioned on the page.

I don't see this functionality on the player profile section

To clarify for other readers..... - this specific updated post by stanford cardinal is about the 'photo' page on "player spot light" web sites. (not team web sites)
