Scatter chart

Post by jojolemon » Sat Apr 24, 2010 6:36 pm

Not really a scoring question but not sure where else to post...

After a game, is there a way to see the scatter chart for each batter...for just that game? Or even for each at-bat? If you go to the player manager, you can see the last twenty at-bats on their player card but I'd like to see where balls went during particular at-bats in particular games.

Thanks,
Joanna.

Player cards are populated by the leagues you have turned on at the moment. So create a league 4/24, turn off all the other leagues, go to game manager and apply league 4/24 to that game only then refer to your player card. I think that should work for the one game review.

Thanks. That's a little cumbersome but does what I wanted!

FTMSupport wrote:The easiest way to do that right now is to view the Player Card, then click the Hit Chart tab. Press the "home button" (circle at bottom of device) and the power button (top of device) at the same time. This will put a copy of the hit chart in your Photo Library / Camera Roll. You can then email it to yourself and print it out.

We will likely come up with a way to get hit charts for an entire team in a single email in the future, but for now, this should help you get hit charts for individual players.

Since we are talking about spray charts, is there a legend for the color used on the spray charts? If not, could you please list the colors here. I see three different colors now, but there could be more.

Thank you.

as a reminder, since this thread was started, hit spray charts are now part of the free Admin site by team. you can log on, click on team tab, click on diamond icon, and then save hit charts as PDF or print.

Are bunts and HBP not supposed to be calculated with "Other" on the hit chart?

I was adding up all the categories (expect RBI) to get the number of PAs and whenever the player had a bunt or HBP, the count was off by that many.
