TIP: Save your Device/Customer ID and Password - FAQ

Post by OhioTex » Wed Mar 28, 2018 12:46 pm

I have posted this before but as a new year and new season, thought i would remind Users.

FIND AND SAVE YOUR DEVICE ID AND PASSWORD somewhere
(found under Options > Admin Web Site)

one of the first things you should do upon downloading the iscore scoring app is set up your Admin Website (Options > Admin Web site) and record somewhere your User ID (aka Device ID, Customer ID, User ID) and password. If you should loose your device or have data issues, knowing the device ID and password will help with support and trouble shooting.

It is also a good idea to register your device to a common email, the process for this has changed some . here is the FAQ for Registration on my.iscorecentral.com

Hello,

Been using iScore for many years. My situation for this upcoming season is different. I have a new device AND a new team. I want to "start fresh." There will be no data overlap between the past years and this years. What is the best way to start off for this season?

Thank you,

When you download the iscore scoring app (android or apple) on a new device, you will get a new user id (found under "iscore> option> admin Web site") and be starting with a fresh iscore database. Your iscore database will be 'empty' and not have any pre existing players/teams/games. If you dont need any data from past years... you are good to go. Set up teams, players and score games for new season.

As mentioned in first post, good idea to set a new admin password, activate your admin web site, and then go on my.iscorecentral.com and register your new device to your email address
