An emailed game specific link, by design, should go direct to the game, and not require a Customer ID .

- The game link URL should be very long with specific game ID embedded in it. for example...
http:// data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecast/baseball/scorecast.html?g=ee165be6-ef05-4f9c-915a-e16d07c20dde&dg=9d9d6304dc6942fa36c7be4d5f943c1e74b94d5b&replay=1
- If you only got part of the URL, Without the game specific ID.. It would look like this and require a customer ID

Well I was just trying to determine if Customer ID is embedded in Game Link that could be used on the Login Screen http://data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecas ... ecast.html?. If not, I will get direction for our admin to find that information.

If you can share with me the link, i can look at it specifically and see what is going on.

Re: How do you get Customer ID from game link received by email?
The short answer is YES, the required information is automatically generated in the game link the scorekeeper can email/text.mishdo1 wrote:Well I was just trying to determine if Customer ID is embedded in Game Link that could be used on the Login Screen http: //data.iscorecentral.com/iscorecast/baseball/scorecast.html. As you know, The link you included in your response is not a complete game link. How did you get that link? After the scorekeeper creates a game, all he needs to do is simply chooses the option to "email game link" from within the scorekeeping application, and the game specific link is automatically generated. The fans receiving email then simply click on the link and watch .. depending on how the device, the user may get an option to watch on a computer web browser or download a mobile device app which they can then view more optimized on phone/tablet.
If your scorekeeper has a " team web site subscription", your scorekeeper could also create a link to a Team to a page that will list all games and then you simply click on the Game of interest.
