Yes, but you would have to delete the game on your device before "data sharing back". If the game already exists on your device, it won't show up on data sharing... but deleting it on your device will allow you to data share back from whoever you sent it to.

Did you map the imported players to existing players on your device? If not, you may have duplicate players so stats not showing up. If that is the case you can merge the players under player manager. Make sure "All" leagues is on when trying to determine if you have duplicate players.
