Export player data from iscorecentral.com (answered, pending user reply back if need)

Post by benakr » Fri Sep 15, 2017 3:34 am

We are on our 3rd iPad for our school's softball team, which means we have 3 separate logins to iscorecentral.com. I don't have access to the other iPads, but need to export player data to send to colleges for our seniors. I can email from the current iPad, but that one only has data for this season. How can I export player data from the iscorecentral.com website?

Thank you for your time.

Welcome to iscore forum. Great to hear you use iscore for school softball team. I will be glad to help you work through your question/issue....

the administrative web site (my.iscorecentral.com) is not designed to provide Player stats, it is more for "administrative tasks"

What you would want to do when you get a new device, is transfer prior device data to your new device, and use leagues in League Manager to separate seasons. you would then have teams by year and players stats for career, all on your device, easily mailable by player or team.

there are two ways to Transfer data, and a third hybrid Workaround...Which way depends on how much data you have on which device..

A) game-by- game .... iPad> iscore > Options > Admin > Data Share > Get from web.
that is a game by game transfer, although it takes less than a minute per game, depending on how many games can take some time

B) complete data base copy from Old device to New device using Admin site (my.isocrecentral.com > account > manage Data )
this takes less than 5 minutes, but to do this you need all devices registered to a common email address,

this also implies you can completely replace the data base on the new device (i.e. you do not have iscore data on the new device, you need to preserve).

C) If you do have lots of Old games, so that game by game transfer is 'unmanageable' from a time perspective, and if you have data you need to preserve on your new device - I have a workaround way to combine, but takes some 'extra' instructions. I can get into details if needed.

Question
1) Do you have access to ALL Device IDs and passwords?
2) Have you previously REGISTERED all three to a common Email ?
(If not you still can, even without physical access to device, if you have the device ID and password). (i can explain how if needed)
3) Which of above options A, B, C - do you think applies best to your situation, and do you need more instruction?
