Username/Password Retrieval (answered/resolved)

I had to reset my iPad. I am trying to retrieve my username/password. I go to options, add-ons, register/login. Click on forgot username or password. A new screen pops up, goes blank and I am taken back to the iPad homescreen.

Anywhere else to retrieve my username/password?

UPDATED POST

on iPad > Iscore scorekeeper App > Options > Register ... there is not a " forgot username or password " button .. so i am a bit confused, but no worry, we can help you. just need more information..

Couple questions
    Q1. Depending on how you reset your iPad, you likely erased any and all iscore data and received a new User ID on re install (You find ID on your device under "iScore > Options > Admin Website" ?

    Q2. Do you know the user ID of your previous install (the 10 digit user ID and password which would have been found under "iScore > Options > Admin Website")?

    Q3. Did you have any data on your previous version you need to retrieve? if so, did you back up your data with " Option > Export" before the re install,? b/c if so so the admin web site will have a current back up of your data and we can restore that too ( If not and have data you need to recover , let me know)

    Q4) If you previously registered the iscore device to your email address, and know that email and password, you can reset it at my.iscorecentral.com .. log in with that old email address and password and on the account tab select the red device id and unregister and re register to new email.


ON YOUR NEW INSTALL
    If you are getting a blank screen or crashing on iPad > Iscore scorekeeper App > Options > Register ..... You need to activate your new "Admin web site" ( my.iscorecenttal.com) , by a) setting a new admin password ( "iScore > Options > Admin Website" change password) and then B) "iscore > option > export" to update and activate your new device "admin web site" After that, " iScore > Option > Register " should work fine.

    you can also manage your registration by logging into my.iscorecentral.com with new user id and password, and then under account tab, manage your email registration and copy data between multiple devices .

Thank you for the update.

I have since found my previous ID that was registered to another email address. Where can I change the email address or register the iPad to the old customer ID?

Ok, so you have both your ORIGINAL iScore App USER ID and PASSWORD and your NEW IPAD INSTALL iScore App USER ID and PASSWORD. - We can work with that.

Below is how to:
    a) Register both USER IDs to a single common email address and
    b) Restore your last saved version of old database to new install
    (assuming, you had data on you old install you want to recover, and had updated the back up server with "Option > Export" before the new install ).

STEPS
    1) on your computer, log into your "iscore admin web" site at http://My.Iscorecentral.com - Using the old "original install" iScore App user ID and Password

    2) go to Account tab (on the right end)

    3) un Register the old email and register to the new email ...
      If a user name and email already exists on the account tab...

      you unregister, by clicking on the "red number" for the device ID and select un register option from the pop up menu

      After un registering, the screen will refresh and you can then register in the now blank fields with new email address, first name and last name

    4) Check your email inbox for a confirmation email and follow the instructions and link in the email to confirm registration and set your admin web site password

    5) on new iPad install, Set up admin web site with password ( Iscore> Option > Admin > change password) and then "option >export" to activate

    6) you can now Register your new iPad install to a desired common email (iscore> : Option > Register > name and email address)

    7) check your email in box for confirmation email and follow instructions/link to confirm registration and confirm password

    8) Both devices should now be registered to same email address, accessible at http://My.Iscorecentral.com by email or device ID and password

    9) if you want to replace All data on new device install with data from old install's last 'option > export' , you simply...
      - log into http://My.Iscorecentral.com with the now common email address and password
      - go to account tab
      - click on Manage Data
      - copy database from "old device" to " new device" (follow prompts, warnings and confirmations as this is not reversible)

    10) on new ipad install, " iscore> option > import"
    ( warning: this will completely erase any iScore data on new install)

You are now good to go
