Multiple teams yet one team (responded, awaiting user reply back)
I am new to iScore and will be keeping stats for a school with two fast pitch teams (a junior varsity team and a varsity team). I understand to keep the two separate, I can create a league for each. And I can use leagues to keep tournaments separate but still see the cumulative by selecting multiple leagues. Is that what I will have to do if both teams are in the same tournament? Create two leagues? or is there a way to create a league within a league?
Re: Multiple teams yet one team
no problem for iscore.
Create two teams, in TEAM MANAGER . e.g. Varsity and JV.
Games can be grouped in Leagues.

Create two teams, in TEAM MANAGER . e.g. Varsity and JV.
- create a player roster for each team. if need be the same girl can play on both teams, (aka Monica About can be in both rosters), but be warned, if the teams ever play each other, the same player can not be on both sides (home and visitor ) in the same game. (the program just can't handle that. you would need to remove the duplicated player from one team line up)
- When you put a team in a Game, it uses the Team Roster (at that moment) as the default starting line up. ( you can then adjust line up order and/or add/remove players if needed)
Players get stats in games they play, Stats can then be viewed by GAME MANAGER or BY PLAYER MANAGR or TEAM MANAGER for game, player or team
Games can be grouped in Leagues.
- Leagues are simply a grouping mechanism. you can group a set of games together in a league and then see player/game/team stats for just that group of games, (example leagues - pre season, Regular season, post season, Memorial Day tourney, Fourth July tourney etc)
Note: the special ALL league can not be removed from your device, when you enable it ALL PLAYERS TEAMS AND GAMES are shown on the device, If you turn off all leagues but say post season, you will only then see post season games/players/team Stats.
