Deleting old league data (replied, awaiting user clarification)

Post by PhilliesFan218 » Sun May 21, 2017 10:36 am

I have several seasons worth of MLB data on my iPad How can I delete data from previous seasons that I no longer need in order to free up memory on my iPad? Thank you.

See below, games do not use much space.

But if you must remove, just delete, games, players, teams as desired..

There is no 'mass delete' unless you delete the app from device and reinstall brand new.
Save your historical game/team/player data ...

iScore stores your data on your device, so you have it with you whenever you like, (with or without internet connectivity ). Storage space for iScore games is nominal. One game is about 150KB of data. A typical song in iTunes is roughly 5MB, so you can store about 30 games in the same space it takes for a single song. It is recommended that you do not delete players, teams and game data as many users have found they go back and reference them sometimes years later..

I have deleted all the games from the old seasons, but the roster information does not seem to be able to be deleted. That is what I would like to do.

What Roster information? Please explain more..

Did You remove
* the Teams (from team manager),
* the players (from player manager)
* the games (from game manager)

Removing them removes the data.

I am not sure what other 'roster' information you are talking about.
