Managing Players and Teams with League (answered)

Post by Texian » Fri Apr 14, 2017 7:03 am

Is there a way to indicate the "League" that a player is associated with other than ONE PLAYER AT A TIME? In assigning the League, I have found that the only way I can do it is to open the Team, Select the Player,Open the League page, uncheck/check the proper League, back out of the page, Save the Player, Scroll down to the NEXT player and Repeat. Is there a way to simply indicate that all of the players on a team will be added to League for the Team and Uncheck all other Leagues if desired? I'm just hoping for another way to manage the League status of players other than the only cumbersome one that I have found thus far. Thanks.

In general, when you discover, data share or create a new player, team, or game - it inherits what ever Leagues are enabled on at that time.

for existing players/teams/games, if you have an iPhone / iPad there are couple of tricks that help expedite league assignments to player mapping...
( if you have an android device, you can try below, but i think these tips are only good on iOS at this time)

For iOS devices, couple league assignment shortcuts....
A) in Team Manager > select team > tap league to uncheck > then tap league to check > you will get a prompt to "Add Active Players to League" ,
  • (that said, i just tested on current iOS version v5.011 and it did not work (odd), I posted a bug report here. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11759)
B) in league manager > tap league > League Assignment Mapping Screen appears
  • League assignment mapping screen in iOS lets you select Games|Teams|Player TAB and then quickly check/uncheck multiple players/games/teams from single list - a nice time saver when doing extensive league assignment mapping
hope this helps, enjoy iscore and post back if more questions
