When scoring a game, it shows up correctly on the iscore central app, by simply searching for our team name. I can also go to the iscorecast.com site and enter in the customer id from the device we use to score and the game stream also shows up there. The issue is that some people want to watch the game from their computer and having them have to enter the hard to remember customer ID is making it hard. I could have sworn there was a way an a computer to go somewhere and watch the game by searching on team name, without having to enter in a customer ID. Is that on iscoretv.com? If so, why is our game showing up everywhere except there? If not on that site, what site do we use for people to watch on a computer without having to enter a customer ID?

• need more information (i.e. your scorecast link example) for game not showing up on iscoretv.com listing.. because i just tested and mine shows up .. (the map may not work, due to google issues, but the schedule should. note their is a drop down list to to choose sports.., baseball, softball etc)
  
  that said, i rarely (if ever) send people to iscoretv.com. just too much information to sort through ..

• I normally send them a direct game links by email or send them to an INDEX page. . either for Team or Device.

do you have a team web site subscription?

• if you have team web site subscription
  • they can go to isocrecast.com .. enter team name. or Simply give them the URL to bookmark
    http://iscorecast.com/?c=YourTeamName . will send them to a list of all score casts for that team

Yes, we do have a web site subscription, however upon going to iscorecast.com you can not just enter a team name, instead you have to enter a customer id. That is where the problem lies.

Because when at iscorecast.com and you get the Red Enter device ID screen, you should be able to enter the team name instead of the device ID ..

you can give fans a simple URL (with YourTeamName) in the following syntax (this is one of the benefits of the Team Web Site subscription fee)

let me know if it works for you, and if you can not get to work post back with your team web site link and i will test further.

the team name has to be the exact url team name associated with the website (no spaces, etc.) Therefore you can't really do a search, but if you know what the website name is, it will work. You do not need the device id if you have paid for a team website. teamname has to match.

Thanks all. We are all set. Not sure about all the stuff from the post, but basically, we did not know that for customer ID on the iscorecast.com site, you could enter the team name. That works for us, and makes it simple enough to be usable (as opposed to having to enter the device ID).
