how do you score an error on a foul ball? Actually how do you go back and add this after the game has been scored?

Usually an error is assigned w a runner advancing a base (or pro long at bat). Post game you can go to play by play editor and change from say overthrow to error.

While scoring live, In the rare case where you have a legitimate error and no one advances, eg a drop foul ball that extends the batter life. You can use misc menu to assign a player an error. The misc menu items (eg balk, illegal pitch, assign error) can only be created during intial scoreing - not inserted post game in edit mode.

MISC > ASSIGN ERROR
