New Scorer and New device for 2nd season (resolved)

Post by TimSonefelt » Fri Feb 17, 2017 6:09 pm

Hello!
I'm fairly new to iScore (only a few games under my belt late last season). This year I will be taking over the scoring for the team. We want to keep the account from before because it has cumulative stats for the players. The previous scorer has access on his ipad. I have the app on my ipad with MY account - no access to the team info. We also want to use the team webpage add on this year so everyone can access the information and we'll have an online home. What is the best way to make this transition?

Thanks much!

If both parties have their devices and are accessible, you can transfer game by game or a complete database.. below are two FAQ articles to help .

The most common way is to transfer games by data shareing..

Data shareing

An alternative, if the source device was dedicated to the team, you could register both devices to a common email then unregister to each person private email when done

Database copy

If we haven't started this season yet, would the entire database transfer be best? Sorry to have so many questions...

It depends more on what is on each device..

If last year team device owner has other non last year team data- they may not want new device to have that info and would not want database copy

If new device for this year team has othet data, they would not want database copy as it over writes all pre exesting data

Review the FAQs and do what works best in your situation
