Ipad changed users

Post by okava » Mon Mar 21, 2016 6:16 pm

We have an old ipad that all of the sudden changed user names and some of our team players got merged. How can the username change on its own?

Not sure what you are calling the "user name"..

A leading cause of players appearing to disappear is league filters, double check ALL league enabled

The username on the options page the Admin. It has changed on its own and just a few players have been merged with old players from three years ago.

The customer ID (aka device ID) Found at. Options> Admin Website > user
Is automatically generated and you have no control over it.

It Is a 10 digit alphanumeric number automatically generated by iOS .. It changes automatically, if you ever change out hardware, uninstall or reinstall iscore or reset iOS ( not sure all the scenarios which trigger iOS to reset the ID but have had it happen on my oldest iPad on a couple of iOS upgrades/restores)

The registration name , options> register . Is set by user and can be reset by the user and is a master email id that you can use to "link" all your devices to the online admin website for select cross device management activities. ..

I have not experienced nor any immediate idea on unattended "player merging" without user directed action ..

Do you ever use 'options > data shareing' to bring in data or share with another device?.. In that process you 'map' players.. If that mapping was mixed up , I suspect it could possibly look like a player merge

What evidence do you have for merge? And are you reviewing the player list with all league on so no players hidden from view

So I can't get my old username back? When I go to my.iscore the old username has my correct roster but the new one has old players mapped to new players, how can I unmap a player?

Which username do you want back ?? ... If you are talking the 10 digit alphanumeric number assigned by the device ... No .. Why would u want /need it back .?

If you are taking the registration name .,option > register yes that can be changed

There is no ' un merge' player function ..

How mixed up is the player . If it is a few games . You could do some work and manually clean it up .. Make a new player and go into each game and swap him in the starting line up . That will associate those stats away from old to new .. Yes this is a lot of work .. And I have not tried it myself but it in theory should work
