Re: TIP: How to Copy Complete DataBase From one Device to Another - FAQ
I discovered that I have games spread out over three devices - my current iPad and iPhone, and some on an old iPad. I saw these games on the website. That's not a problem as such as I can move them around, but. If I copy all the data on that old device I no longer have to the device I want on the website using the copy command, does it OVERWRITE the existing data, or does it add to it? I'd like to copy them all to one device, but I don't want to overwrite anything doing that. Thanks.
Does bring up another question. Is there a way to bulk copy games from one device to another using data sharing?

Using the transfer option on the my.iscoresports.com website replaces the data on the account you are moving the data to, but allows you to bulk copy everything.
Data Sharing is how you "combine" data ... but requires copying a single game at a time from one account to another.

Once I transfer my data to my new device can I score games on either device? If so, once I export a new game from the scoring device would I just import on the non scoring device to keep both devices synchronized?
Thanks.
Mike S
Thanks.

No. Unless something has changed, you really need to use one main device to score the games, and then manually sync games you score on a second device. There is no multi-device synchronization.

Thanks for the reply. Just to confirm, if I start using my new device to score games, I can still import to the old device from the iscore server and all games will then be on both devices. Thanks again. I wasn't sure anyone was actually monitoring this form and replying.

I'm not with iScore, but I keep watch from time to time.
But yes, you should be able to import to the old device from the server. I only score with one device and I have not done this at all so I can't confirm, but that should be the method.
