Deleting Players / Teams?

After quickly scanning the forums, I haven't found the answer to my question...

Is it possible to delete players/teams/leagues once they've been entered into iScore?

For example: our team is expected to have 15 players this year, so I have entered the player names into the Player Manager; however, it turns out that (in spring training) someone breaks their leg and will not be playing this year. From my looking through the app, it looks like there is no way to remove the player from the team/league via the iPod or the Admin website...

Same thing goes for teams -- it appears that once I enter a team, it remains in the system forever.

Am I missing something? Is it possible to delete these players/teams?

Yes, they can be deleted. To delete a team, go to Team Manager, and click the little "minus" next to the team. It will then pop up a button asking you to confirm you want to delete the team.

To remove a player from a team, go to Team Manager, click the team, click on Roster, then click the "minus" next to the player you want to remove from the team.

Thanks for the answer... I think I'm halfway home right now.

To clarify: how could I delete a player from the database/system? The instructions you've given me work if I want to take the player off the team, but that player remains in the player pool when I go into "Player Manager".

Example: I created a player I thought was going to be on our team ("Greg Vansickle"), and put him on the roster. After talking with him this week, he is not playing at all this year. If I go into Team Manager and click the "minus", he will be taken off the team, but he is still selectable in the "Player Manager" section. Can I remove him completely from the system, so he doesn't show up anywhere?

Delete him in the Player manager.

Thanks... I thought I had to select the player in the Player Manager to delete him, but that just allowed me to edit his information.

Apparently, I had to click the "Edit" button at the top of the screen to delete him.
