website settings/changes

Post by Tguerr16 » Thu Feb 09, 2012 2:57 pm

I am attempting to "pimp" my team website but can't seem to get changes to take place. I'm starting simple, trying to change how the buttons look.

I can change the style of the buttons but that's it. I click "test" and the button shapes will change but no matter what I do to the text color or background colors nothing happens. I event tried to change the main background but nothing!

I've logged in, I've shut down and re-opened but still nothing. Anyone else seeing the same issues? Am I doing something wrong, not doing something??

Help!

After you make the changes on the Settings screen, be sure to Save. Sometimes browsers will still cache the old stylesheet, so closing all open browser windows, then re-opening your website will often show the changes. Sometimes it requires you to clear your cache however.

Tguerr, I was having the same issue. My old background wouldn't go away no matter how many times I replaced. Finally, I realized that simply hitting the browser's "refresh" button did the trick.

There are several free website banner generators and logo websites. I can't remember the one I used for my banner, but a google search should give you some ideas.

I found a web site and am messing with different logos but the "free" ones are pretty limited from what I have found. One question though...anyone know the size of the "Header"??

All it gives is a "top border hight" of 90px. Is there a length?
