Mound distance

Post by Dsmetzinger » Tue Sep 20, 2011 11:31 am

Am I doing anything wrong? I just downloaded the new version of iScore Baseball. When I change the mound distance, the application quits. Anyone else having this problem?

EDIT...

This appears to happen if your device is running low on memory. We have it fixed for the next release (we will be doing a small release very quickly to fix this and any other issues that may come up).

The good news is that it should be storing the value when you set it, so going back in, everything should work fine. It also appears to only happen when setting the mound distance from the scoring screen. It does not happen if you set it from the New Game -> Options screen. (And it remembers your last setting so you do not have to set it again once it is set unless you are scoring games with different mound distances.)

A fix for this was submitted along with the fix for the issue with creating new games for teams that existed prior to the update (see other threads on this topic and the workaround), and we are hoping for approval from Apple today.

Is there a way to set a 'default' mound distance? I'm scoring softball games for 10U ( 35' ) but the default is baseball distance ( 60'6" ). Where can I set this?

Once you set the mound distance from the new game screen, it is remembered as the default for the next time you create a new game.
