rain suspended game after four innings

Post by mikeital » Sun Jun 12, 2011 5:27 pm

What is best way to handle a partial game that *may* be continued in a couple weeks? Seven inning game was stopped in the middle of the forth, visiting team winning, with "hopes" to finish game in future. Is ending the game and undoing best option (and then include stats for season totals), or is there something better?

If you want to include the stats right now, then yes, use Misc -> End Game, then if the game does resume, just undo the game over, and continue scoring right where you left off, and the stats will be updated when it "ends" the second time.

well, since its not an official game (yet...and possibly not ever if we dont make it up soon), how can I do it without including the stats now?

You have a couple of options. It you leave the game open it will not be included in your stats. By that I mean it is not a final game (you have not yet hit end game.) Otherwise, you can use leagues. Do not assign this game to the league that had the cumulative stats you want.
