Not sure if this is right place, we have games this weekend out in country, we use ipad 64 gig noooooo 3g I have to work this weekend and would love to watch over internet, any guru can give me some advice, is it possible that the ipad can connect to internet thru someone cell phone, seems I have heard something like that.

Yes. If you have a phone with available "hot spot" option you can use the phone to create a wi-fi network that the iPad can connect to. This is usually an extra charge by the cell carrier and is not part of typical data plans.
