Entering date for scoring old games

Post by zilla73 » Fri Apr 08, 2011 10:34 am

Just started using the app on ipad and so far it's great. I've been adding MLB games that I scored in the past as a way to practice and build up stats for players I've seen play. My question has to do with the date entry. Some of my games are from the early 90's, now I can scroll and scroll on the date "wheel" until I get to the correct date, but is there an easier way? Maybe adding the year to the date section could be an enhancement? Thanks for the help!

Scrolling to the right date is the only way to do it on the device. We are using a "built in" picker control from Apple, and the one that includes Time does not include a year. If they ever modify the control to include the year (or create an easier way to switch years), iScore will automatically inherit that functionality from Apple.
