Pitcher BAA

Post by bmclaurin » Sun Apr 03, 2011 1:12 pm

Looks like the program might not be factoring sacrifices correctly into the pichers' BAA stats. I use the iPad version if that matters. Today our starting pitcher faced 3 batters before being replaced due to injury (line drive off the back of the throwing hand--ouch). He gave up a single, a sac bunt, and another single to the 3 batters he faced, yet his BAA for the game shows as .667 (presumably, it is calculating that as 2-for-3). It should be 1.000 (2-for-2). Unfortunately, you cannot edit the number official at bats, so this pitcher's BAA will forever be incorrect.
