Merging will make the player into a single player combining all of his stats, but it would be no different than creating a single player and putting him on multiple teams in the end. The League site MAY work for you, but again, what you are trying to do is not the intent of the product. There are basically three kinds of reports:
1. Team Stats - shows a single report with cumulative stats for all players that played on that team
2. Player Reports - will show all stats for the player no matter which team they played on
3. Game Reports - will show all stats for any individual game
The League product will take player stats across all teams in the league and make a league leader report, and may work for you, but is still going to be awkward not having player "officially" on any one team. For the league product to work, you would have to have the players assigned to teams. You can change the team the player is on, but the leagues are intended to track how teams are doing (i.e. standings for teams, game results for teams, etc), not track how a pool of player that may play on any team are doing.
It is not the intended use of the system, and there may be issues with it, so we are not going to promise it will work, and our focus for the system will be tracking teams and the players on those teams, not pools of players.
If more users start coming to us saying that they use the product for pools of players that may play on any team on any given game day, then we will prioritize this type of feature accordingly, but honestly, this is the first request we have ever had for this type of functionality.
Thank you.

Re: stats on all my teams
Will the League product keep track all players stats for the year not just show the league leaders?
We are like one team that plays each other every week. Can I merge all 3 teams and keep track of their STATS on the TEAM WEB SITE that you guys offer ? we have 50 guys on our club. Can I put 50 guys on the roster on your team web site? and just input the stats my self... I need to make this work some how. We have 3 teams with 13 guys on each team and then 2 teams play each other on Sunday with the 3rd team having the week off. The team and players that are not playing that week have a chance to play with the 2 teams that do, if they are shot guys. and if they are still short guys we have 11 guys not on any team and can also play any week that we need players.
Please help me! with any suggestions
Thank you.
