ANY Support coming for iPhone 6/6+ Coming

Post by d3acon » Sun Sep 21, 2014 4:42 am

Guys,

Are you going to be a submit a recompiled app to the apple store for the iPhone 6 or more hopefully the 6 plus.

I am currently using an iPad 4(in an otter box) and after both a Varsity and JV game (6hrs later) my arms are killing me collecting the data.

I would really appreciate being able to cut the weight and also having the data access in a single device. It would make running the rss feed easier with network access.

My only other option is to run a MIFI and I don't want to look like a robot with all these devices and wires.

Can you help out a fellow stat geek?

The developers submitted an update before release of iPhone6 and are awaiting Apple approval

We may create a version of football for the larger iPhones in the future. For now it is iPad only. Works great on the iPad mini if you are looking for a smaller device.

I agree the mini is a good choice but I am trying to consolidate my apple hardware.

The iPad mini would be a great choice but I am still stuck with needing a phone to make phone calls still.

Just checking in on this request. I am surprised how many of your apps are available for the Iphone except for football.

Can you all show some love and submit an app for the iphone 6/6+ ?

It can't be screen it is as big as the ipad mini and the processor is faster.

Hey if you need some help, I can program in objective c and have a macbook pro retina.

It seems a little long in the tooth but can you recompile and set the target to iphone 6/6+.
Even if it utterly fails there isn't much to be lost by making a fork of the code and giving it a whirl.

There is a lot more to supporting phones than just recompiling and targeting phones. There is a lot of information needed in a football game that makes the screen sizes much more critical. We constantly review priorities, and may at some point in the future create a phone optimized version, but for the foreseeable future it will only be available on iPads.
