How can you delete PART of a play?

I used your app for the first time last night and I love it!!
One thing I struggled with was how to delet PART of a play. For example, I accidentally added an "event" like a fumble, but then wanted to remove it from the field. I could never figure out how to do that. I could CHANGE what a particlar part of a play was, but not delete it. Is there a way to do that?
I found that I COULD delete a Penatly from the bottom of the pop-up screen. Is there anything like that for other play events?
