Going to admin web site and make things 'inactive' is not the answer.

The data base is on your phone. A full copy of your database is Copied to admin server when you export. I score is not design to ' off load' parts of your data base and store in separate places.

I assume you have done the maintenance setting on admin site . That is one way to 'tighten' up your data size

Click on the scoreboard feature and I believe there is a link explanation . Basically it is an web element generator that let's you creat a scrolling scoreboard to add to a web page.

But if I make old leagues inactive, can I at least not have check off a bunch of old leagues when I set up a new team or game? The time to export and import I can probably deal with.

Yes, if you disable leagues in league manager then when you create new games you will not have to remove them from the disabled leagues. Any new data you create will only be assigned to the currently active leagues.

exactly one of the purposes of leagues. Filter out information. make visible only what you want

again, done at the handheld device, does not require website

Yes I figured that out. In fact I tried to do it on the website and it wouldn't save the changes. Tried with using both internet explorer and google chrome as browsers and neither worked. Accomplished what I needed to do on my handheld. Thanks for your input though.

I am reposting this because it hasn't shown up yet and I am not sure if I hit the right thing to submit it or if there is some delay in transmission.

I have to get a new phone now, so can anyone walk me through how to get iscore on my new phone and get only the data from this year's leagues, games, players and teams to show up on the new phone but use my old phone to keep the old data on it. I would like to keep my old user id and password.

thanks again

1. Do an Options -> Export from your current device to send the current data to the iScore server

2. Install iScore on your new device

3. Use data sharing to transfer just the games/teams you want to your new device (http://iscoresports.com/baseball/kb/faq ... _share.php)

Each device is given a unique ID, so the new device is going to have a new ID. Your old customer ID will have all your old data and still be associated with the old device.

OK, I was able to get through this relatively well tonight. I just had 15 games to do the data share on my new device. And I have 11 games transferred so far. (I was hoping to just transfer one league and be done with it, but that issue can wait.) I ran into only one problem. In creating rosters for our opponent teams in these 15 games I've just looked at the rosters listed on their college websites. I've run into a couple times now where a player in the game isn't listed on their website. So I just listed Unknown A1, Unknown A2 and Unknown A3 cause these showed up on the top of my players list so I could add them on the fly to the roster and then tried to re-label them later with a correct name. I ended up only using the Unknown A1 player on two different teams. However iscore lists their stats still under the Unknown A1 name and if I change it to the correct name it only saves one name. I think it would be nice if I could change a previously mapped player back to a new player before transferring it to the new device.

Any suggestions? I still haven't transferred the game where the Unknown A1 player got into the game yet so if there is something I can do to still fix this let me know.

Also how does this second device show up or get registered on my Admin website?

You can not change the mapping of players once they are mapped or you would be able to map the same player to multiple players on your device which would cause all kinds of problems.

For the second device to show up on the Admin Website, just register the second device to the same email address as your first device. Here is a link that describes how to register a device:

Fortunately I was able to solve my 2 players using the same name before I transferred the second players name and stats to my new device. I just got it corrected on the old device and then exported again and did my transfer. Probably a case where not being able to just transfer leagues is a good thing. I wouldn't have caught the mistake on the old device if I wasn't transferring it one game at a time.

Sorry the whole registering thing is still confusing for me. I don't know if you mean use my old device's customer ID and password or my new device. If I go to the admin website using my old customer ID and password I see no way under accounts to add a device. It has my old device listed as well as my name and e-mail address. If I go to options and admin website on my new device it asks me to create a new website. Which I just did. So now do I go to my.iscorecentral.com and enter the new ID and password to register?

I'm beginning to think it is obvious that I should, but I just want to make sure before I do something again that will be hard to undo.
