Offensive Substitutions on Kindle Fire

Post by DarrylRutherord » Tue Sep 03, 2013 7:47 am

I'm a new user but have entered 4 games into my kindle app...I just can't seem to figure out how to do offensive substitutions on my Kindle Fire - either during game or post game. I'm able to do defensive subs but there's not tab or button to click to switch to offensive subs. Am I overlooking something?

Welcome to the Forum !

TRAINING
If you have not had a chance to review the online video tutorials - I do recommend them.
( although they may look a bit different .. ie different device (iPhone or iPad) and may be from an older version of the software the "basic premise" on how to score and do substitutions is the same.

We also have a users manual in word format if you prefer that type of learning. .

there is also a new user forum thread on Substitutions, Game Line Ups and Rosters at viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5073

For you specifically.. ......
Yes iscore can handle offensive as well as defensive substitutions, the way one normally 'starts' that on the screen is to simply tap the batter icon. and up pops the Batting sub screen, existing batting order along the top of the screen horizontally and roster listed below vertically.... tap a batting order slot (on the horizontal order on top) , then a player in the vertical list below and . done

I suspect however, when you tap on a batter icon you only get the defensive sub screen because you have all of your players in the game line up set to "batting". (aka no subs). I score needs at least one non batting sub on the bench to enable offensive subs screen .

To see your game line up from the scoring screen, go to " misc" > "show starting line up "
when starting a new game, the Starting Line up screens are prompte. just set some players to Not batting

with at least one player on the bench the substitution screen should have a tab/toggle on top of screen for offense and defense.

Please post pack if you have questions or if this is not your issue

Thanks OhioTex...you were spot on! I had entered all players as "batting" and had no subs to choose from. I appreciate the timely response - thanks and until next time...
