Changing Batting Order After Players Have Batted

Post by rsol68 » Thu Apr 25, 2013 5:29 pm

In the last game, a player was injured during the game. He was batting 4th. When he was ready to play, he was changed to batter 11. When I changed the starting lineup, ALL the stats changed and names were off by one. What is the correct way to do this, if the batting order changes in the middle of the game after the team has batted.

As noted in our other response to this same question it sounds like if this was allowed it was likely against the rules. You would have to sub the player out then sub him into another spot in the lineup. Modifying the starting lineup changes the starters for the game.
