landscape mode on Nexus 10

Post by kworkes » Tue Jan 01, 2013 11:59 am

Is there a way to change to landscape mode? Seems like my nexus 10 runs the same UI as my android phone did...is there a way to tell if its even running the tablet version?

Thanks

There is only one version for Android and it will optimize itself for the size of the device. From the Options screen, there is a setting where you can force the display to the Small or Large mode if the device supports it (Nexus 10 should... though we don't have one to test with).

OK,so landscape displays only in the scoring screen. One other issue I run into is on the scoring screen. The selection box that pops up when you press out or in play is too small and the text is cut off. I attached a link to a screenshot.

We will look into this issue. We don't have a Nexus 10 to test with, but we will see if we can cause this to happen on another android device we have. Do things work fine in portrait mode?

It looks the same in portrait mode and landscape. Only way it shows correctly is if I set option to small screen.

Could rotation be enabled for the other screens, aside from the scoring screen? I would think this would be beneficial considering the use of cases that integrate a Bluetooth keyboard.

If you need assistance in testing please feel free to ask.

Any update on fixing this issue? I would really hate to go back to paper score sheets ;)... Just kidding I'd buy a spare phone battery before I did that!

Yes... we submitted an update to the Google Play store just a few days ago. Let us know if this update does or does not fix the issue. We believe it should.

Just had a chance to check out the update and this issue is fixed!
I've came across another issue.. When you choose a player to substitute on the scoring screen, the popup window displays only 2 players. Granted you can still scroll through the rest of the players and doesn't make this unusable. There is plenty of room on the screen to make the popup bigger to display 5-6 players at a time.
