Supported Android Devices

Post by FTMSupport » Fri Feb 11, 2011 8:07 pm

We are starting this thread to try and get feedback on devices customers have used iScore with. The Android universe is different than the iOS universe in that there are hundreds of different devices, each with their own CPU speeds, RAM, storage space, screen size, carrier, etc. So while we have made every effort to make sure iScore is compatible with a "standard Android install" (the only requirements being that you have v2.1 of Android or newer, and you purchase from the Android Marketplace), it will be interesting to see if there are any devices that stand out as being the best, or devices that don't work for one reason or another.

As a starting point, we have tested on many actual hardware devices including the following:

Motorola Droid
Motorola Droid X
Google Nexus One
Samsung Galaxy Tab

We have also tested on the Emulator supplied by Google in a variety of configurations including basic 320x480 displays with a basic OS 2.1 install, and it works just fine.

Please add your devices to this topic so we can all learn which are the best and not so great devices to run iScore on, and if there are device specific issues we can address, we certainly will.

Thank you.

I have the App on my Samsung Epic (2.1 update 1) and everything was great until I tried to import a team from my other device using data sharing. After selecting the team to import the APP force closes.

Everything else seems fine. Ill keep you posted on any thing else.

Where's the fix for the issue mentioned above? I'm still not able to import teams.

Thanks.

Making it available in the Android Market right now -- watch for v3.04.121 to be available shortly.

Downloaded the update and now I'm able to import teams from the DB. Thank you very much for that. I am however having a different issue now. I changed my admin website's password and now I'm not being authenticated on my.iscorecentral.com
I even changed the password one more time and still no access. The message I get reads as follows: B Invalid user and/or password!

Thank you.
