Is there any rule in girls fastpitch regarding a batter running to first base still holding herbat? We have a girl who has been doing this lately and even though it seems very wrong, I can't find a rule against it.

Have seen rules about throwing the bat, but can't recall seeing a rule about carrying the bat. Seems it would slow the runner down so would not be encouraged, but not sure there would be a rule against it.
