Run scores on dropped third strike

Post by NNDman » Fri Mar 28, 2014 4:47 pm

Runner at 3rd with one out and two strikes on the batter. the batter swings and misses the next pitch which is in the dirt. The catcher blocks it and throws to first to complete the out. The runner from third scores. My question is the base runner credited with a stolen base or is it ruled a fielder's choice?

thanks but I disagree with the RBI. Should be no RBI.

It should be scored as a strikeout, no RBI, runner advanced on the throw.
