Ever had those moments where you doubt yourself...
When scoring a passed ball...it is a ball that can be caught with reasonable effort by the catcher.
A wild pitch is a pitch that would have an extra ordinary effort to be caught.
Simple rule but for some reason I am doubting myself...
Thanks
passed ball vs wild pitch
Re: passed ball vs wild pitch
Another addition that makes it a little easier to judge...if the pitch hits the ground before it gets to the catcher, it is almost always a wild pitch.
