Official Game Time?

If you have any rules related questions, please ask in this forum. In general, enforcement of rules is up to the Umpire of the game and iScore does not specifically enforce them, but we want to make sure we score within them. Ask here, and experts can chime in.

In NSA (ASA travel-esque) We start the clock immediately after the first warm-up pitch is thrown.

Sorry to post on this old post but I found it interesting how many different situations there are. Here in Iowa and surrounding states we play a lot of USSSA and ASA travel ball. The clock starts right after the coaches / captains meeting. Where it is really important is in "Drop Dead Time Limit" games. We know our timer is not official but we also know we are close so we use it to decide on how we are going to play our the late innings. The clock is a great feature for sure..
