This happened twice over the weekend. How do I enter into iScore?
Runners on first and second with 2 outs. Batter hits a ground ball to SS who steps on second base to end the inning.
After recording play as a FC, the first question iScore asks is "What happened to the runner on second base?" Well, nobody cared about him, as the runner on first was forced out at second and the inning was over.
I know it wasn't defensive indifference (not the 9th inning), but what do I enter into iScore? Does the batter get any credit for advancing the runner - if there even such a stat?
Thanks for the help.
Fielder's choice for 3rd out (answered)
Re: Fielder's choice for 3rd out
Simply advance the runner safely from 2nd to 3rd (use safe:held up or safe:advance by batter, matters not which you choose)
The runner is statistically Left on Base
p.s... a similar scenerio can happen with bases loaded, in that case when you advance runner to home, make sure and tap '"run not scored" button.
