Scoring caught fly ball in foul territory

If you have any rules related questions, please ask in this forum. In general, enforcement of rules is up to the Umpire of the game and iScore does not specifically enforce them, but we want to make sure we score within them. Ask here, and experts can chime in.

Scoring caught fly ball in foul territory

Post by wunwun_w » Sun Dec 02, 2018 3:59 pm

How do I score a caught fly ball or line drive which falls to foul territory?
For this case, the batter is out.

I’m new to iScore.... couldn’t find such option....
I could only found caught fly ball option (in fair territory).

Thanks very much!

It is still scored as a line drive out or fly out. Statistically there is no difference. You can add a note that it was in foul territory if you'd like. You can also track the ball trajectory in foul territory.
