Pitching substiution mid at bat

Post by cheffan140 » Wed Apr 09, 2014 9:11 pm

I was wondering the best way to handle this situation;

A pitcher is replaced during an at bat. According to the MLB rulebook, depending on the count, in this case 3-2, if the batter walks, he should be credited to the previous pitcher. After the game i noticed the batter got credited to the new pitcher. I'm just wondering the best way to enter this substitution in the future.

you did the substitution correct, and would continue to do that way. I would make a note on the play and post game go and manually override the stats column on walks.

I do not believe iScore is programmed to check inherited count and make a determination of who gets the walk .. FTM can put on its list for potential enhancements to refine its walk assignment logic based on inherited count,
