Too many errors?

Post by Mmiles22 » Tue Oct 08, 2013 11:59 am

Runners on 1st and second. Hit and run with batter hitting ball to ss who fields it cleanly but throws it over 1B head. Score e6 throwing error but how do I track the runner scoring and trail runner moving to 3rd on that same play without causing the line score to record 3 separate errors on the play? If I use safe / advanced / error to make sure batter doesn't get an RBI it records extra errors for each runner

If on the same play, you advance multiple runners with error on the same fielder - iScore will correctly only assign one error to the fielder (and the team box score) one error.

(you can create a test game and prove it to your self)

with advance scoring on and not minimizing questions. here is the tap sequence

Scoring Screen > In play > Safe - Error >
touch the location and hit type, Next >
> tap the players and type of error .. tap SS throwing No Done, >
>what happen to runner from second ? , tap safe Home - Error >
> tap players and type of error ... tap SS, Throwing , No, Done >
> what happen to runner from first ? tap Safe third Error >
> tap players and type of error ... tap SS, Throwing , no , Done >
What happen to batter ? tap safe Second Error
> tap [;ayers and type of error .... tap SS throwing Yes Done >

Alternately you can use "held up" instead of error on the what happen to batter/ runner questions ? and stats will look ok. but you may need to double check earned runs more closely.
