How to score the error

Post by highknees69 » Tue May 28, 2013 1:18 pm

We finished up our first tourney using iScore and I love the details it provides.

However, I have a question on how to enter an error.

The program always asks who got the assist and who got the error.

If there is a fly ball to center and the girl drops it. Do you enter an assist on anyone? Do I enter 8 and 8 for assist/error? Or do I just enter 8 once and hit next?

Sorry for the newbie question. I think I have it down until the game starts, then it's panic time. :)

In your example, you would just enter 8. The assist is optional. An example of where you could have an assist and an error would be SS makes good throw in time to get runner at first but first drops the ball. You could enter 6-3 and SS gets the assist and 3 gets the error.
