Fix a scoring error

Post by HenryKR » Sun May 29, 2016 2:48 pm

I ran into an issue and not sure if there is an easy fix?

We were the home team bottom of the 4th. with 2 outs, I must have been off on the count, and not paying attention.
Jane must have had 3 balls scored incorrectly, she got another which i (thought was ball 3) but iScore had it as ball 4, So of course iscore walked her, when in fact she lined out to L-9.

Not paying attention Mary (the next batter) was scored as the L-9 and the 3rd out.

Top 5 everything was great. Then comes bottom 5 and I have the wrong batter leading us off.

I know probably the best way to fix this quickly (during the game), is skip thru the lineup to the correct batter in the lineup.

After the completion of the game, i wanted to make the fix, so stats are correct. Pitch by pitch won't allow me to change a (safe to an out) walk to L-9. So i printed out the screwed up score card, clicked undo all the way back to where the error was, corrected it, then rescored everything properly from the score card.

Is there an easier way to fix this, even during the game?

Unfortunately . the true answer is vigilance while scoring live. I know can be hard w glare on screen and fast action or emotional plays.

Rescoring was your best bet ..
Some folks forget , You can email the pitch by pitch to help you re create in addition to the scorecard
