pick off attempt with error

Post by ccriscuolo » Mon Apr 18, 2016 1:28 pm

My pitcher made an errant pick off attempt. I tried to enter it as E1/safe at second, but it's asking me how the batter reached 1st. The batter is still in the box.

Tap the runner, then tap Safe, Second, Error. The key is to tap the Runner when runners are advancing as the result of something other than the ball being hit.

Well, that's backwards. The throwing error came first, then the runner being safe at 2nd as the result.
Ok, I'll try that.
Thanks.

Does not have to be 'backwards' .. In fact IScore tries to 'score what you see'

Let me try to add some clarifying ideas/comments

Not sure how you originally tried to score but sounds like was based on batter action ( ball strike out in play etc) that triggered the questions for what happen to on base runners and batter

In the future , you now know you can trigger base runner actions between pitches by tapping on the base runner icon. In this case, tap R1 and note pickoff attempt 1-3.. Then tap R1 icon again and advance to second on error (e1 or e3)

That should follow the flow
