In the case where the batter is not out (FC) or the batter is not the final out (DP), then the order iScore asks about the runners is lead runner first. There is no way for iScore to know when it is asking what happened to the runner at third whether there was a force out at second, so it is up to the scorekeeper to select the Run Not Scored option.

We would like to avoid adding more questions that are asked of the user as we like to keep the process as streamlined as possible.

If someone has a suggestion that is more obvious than "Run Not Scored", we would love to hear it.
Understandable. I see what you mean now about having to enter what happened to the preceding runner before a succeeding one that gets forced out, but could something be tied to the Fielder's Choice option when that gets tapped for the batter-runner when there are two outs since that implies that someone else was out on a force play?

Fielder's Choice does not even imply there was an out. If there is a runner on second and third and there is a ground ball to the third baseman, and the runner on third got a good lead and is going to score, the runner on second could have been heading to third. The third baseman starts running that batter back to second base. He then does nothing with the ball. The batter reached first on FC, and no outs occurred and the runner scored.

If instead the runner on second was heading to third, and the runner from third reached home, and the third baseman was able to tag the runner coming from second out, it is now a timing play. The batter was still safe on first as the result of FC, but the runner on third either scores or does not score depending on the timing of the tag on the runner coming from second. So just FC alone is not enough to know if the runner coming from third is allowed to score or not, and it does not even imply there was an out.

Since the app asks for the runner at third prior to the runner at 1st. For the runner at 3rd, I press the 'Held Up' button.

If you do the Runs Created stat, Advancing Base runners in included in that stat. Along with Quality At Bats if you have that turned on for quality at bats stats.
