substitution

Post by ccriscuolo » Sat Mar 21, 2015 4:08 pm

I'm scoring the infamous double-switch. I get the guys in the right positions, but the new guys are added to the bottom of the scorecard in new rows. Shouldn't they be put into the old players' boxes? If I don't turn on 'Batting' they don't show at all.

When you tap the fielders and set their positions, you are doing the defensive substitution. To do the Offensive substitution, while on the sub screen, tap the "Offense" tab, then tap the player to be replaced, and then tap who the player is that is subbing in for that player on offense.

See the following link in the manual for more information on offensive and defensive substitutions:

There is no 'Offensive Substitution" tab.

As noted in the manual at the link in the previous post, if you are not seeing the Offense tab, it means you do not have any players set to Batting = NO. You will only have players available for offensive substitution if there are players in the game that are not already batters.

Batting = No... darn it that's under Offensive sub, I didn't read that section. :(
It still took me a while to figure it all out, but I've got it now. Everybody's at the right position and in the right slot in the scorecard.
