Correcting player's names after a game is played

Post by Billbh » Tue Apr 22, 2014 2:45 am

Going into the player mgr we can correct player names AFTER a game is played but if we revisit that (past) game, although the team stats DO reflect the corrected name, the play-by-play listing still has the 'old' name and so does the game itself (when viewing in play mode).

Anyway of somehow 'refreshing' the game so that it can update any subsequent player name change ??

(This would be especially when an opponents team player name is unknown at game time (just have a jersey #), and only later we learn the name, etc

Editing the player names should update the player name everywhere in the app. We do not make multiple copies of player names --- they are only stored in the underlying database one time. You might want to go to League Manager and turn on the ALL league, then go to Player Manager and see if maybe you have duplicate players with the same name and one has not been updated with the "new" name.
