iScore v2.94 runs VERY SLOW on iPad updated with OS6

Ths issue is a Major showstopper since it runs so slow sometimes as to not allow the user to quickly change players for new ball possession

One short term fix is doing a power reset before the start of the game ... but the app starts to again run slow again a few minutes into the game.

Apple tells me that perhaps iScore needs hasn't been 'optized' to run on OS 6

What suggestions / thoughts can you folks offer ??

There should not be any "optimization" required to run an existing app on iOS6. Who at Apple told you this? Do you have their contact information? If so, please send it to us at support@iscoresports.com with exactly what they said. If things have to change, then it means Apple messed up.

We know there are reports of performance issues across many apps (even Apple's own apps like the App Store and Email). Apple may not want to acknowledge this, but if you search their forums, you will see this is the case. We also know they have said a new release (6.0.1) is forthcoming that should address some issues, and we are hopeful this will be one of them.

What version of iPad are you running? When you do a full reset, how far into scoring a game do you get before it begins to slow down? We have scored many games without seeing a slowdown, so maybe more information is needed so we can reproduce this. What scoring mode do you use (Game, Coach, or Adjust)? Can you do an Options -> Export of your data and email it to us at support@iscoresports.com, and let us know which game slowed down so we can try and reproduce the issue by scoring the same way you scored a game?

I am. Having the same issue. Very frustrating as you are going along just fine and then all of sudden it drags and you wait 10 secs for the app to respond. This needs to be addressed immediately. I will be exporting a file I did yesterday to your email address and I hope y can find something in it to fix this issue. I cannot use this app any more and if not fixed soon will ask for a refund and find an alternative app.

The iscore basketball runs very slow about 10 second delay after hitting an action. Very frustrating. What can be done to eliminate this problem?

We are just awaiting approval of an update sent to Apple for this... please see this post for info on the bug Apple introduced with iOS6 and a workaround for now:

When will the update happen. The app is useless the way it is running now. Unable to use. Will there be any refunds for the problem?

The update is already available - just go to the App Store on your device, select Updates, and you should see the new version available for download.
