Scoring error (resolved, pending user follow up if needed)

Hi, I emailed you regarding this but thought I would post as well in case this has happened before...

The score on the "scoreboard" ended up to be different than the actual team scores. I think there were a couple of instances where the program credited one team with the score when it should have gone to the other. I sent you my ID and the specific game.

Please advise.

Thanks

thanks for submitting the issue. Hopefully you included your customer ID and basketball game information on your email to support... so the developers can look under the hood at the specific game and code and trouble shoot . the program does not have a reported history of mis reporting score, but if there is a code issue, i know developers would like to find out and correct . thanks again

Thanks, I did send my ID and the specific game in question. This was the first time I ran into an issue. I had been scoring games as recently as a few days ago so I am not sure what happened here.

by the way, are you talking about a discrepancy within the score board in the app on your handheld device or on a web team site? or iscorecast?

It's the score board on the app. I use an iPad. I was not using iScorecast nor a team web site.

that was my initial assumption, the app. just thought i would verify.
this is a developer issue, nothing i can help with as a user.
typically they respond quickly, and I am sure they will get back to you

iScore support responded to my email and we got the issue resolved for this game. They still aren't exactly sure what caused it. I'll keep a closer eye on the scoreboard for my next game. I think it may have been something to do with subs that i entered and perhaps undoing and redoing a play, but I'm not sure.
