if the ball goes out of bounds on a missed shot and no player has possession first then no rebound is assigned. If a player gets possession and then losses it out of bounds then you will select the player that shot, click where on the floor it was shot or you can click the shot button located under the pic of the court. Then once the shot options screen pops up press missed 2 or 3 w/rebound and you will get the option to choose which player got the rebound. If after they gain possession/rebound and the ball goes out of bounds u need to give that player a turnover, but like I said only if they had possession.

If the ball goes out of bounds after a shot without touching anybody, it IS
a team rebound. Here are examples of a team rebound.

"The offensive team gets a team rebound when one of its players misses a shot at the buzzer.
The defense gets a team rebound when a missed shot goes out of bounds without touching a player, and when the last free throw attempt in a sequence misses the rim.
Either team can get credit for a team rebound when a missed shot goes out of bounds off a member of the other team.

From everything we have seen about "team rebounds", they are more of a formality than a stat that is actually tracked. Since every missed shot "requires" a rebound, "team rebounds" are assigned in certain scenarios. From everything we have seen, team rebounds really do not have significance, so we chose not to include it in the user interface. If there are people out there that feel team rebounds are an important stat to track, let us know and we will figure out how to possibly include it in the future.

Thank you.
