Can you put a green border around the clock when it is running, and a red one when it is stopped?

Or something similar...the objective here is so that I can easily determine whether the clock is running or not. Presently I have to stare at it for a few seconds to see if it is moving, and in the process I miss what's going on in the game. Also...quite often I tap on the clock and think it is running only to find out it is stopped (and vice versa). Having the color or some flashing notification would let me spot this at a glance and correct it.
