Can databases be shared?

Post by parmeda8@reliable » Thu Dec 19, 2013 3:16 pm

Can data bases be shared with others having iScore? e.g. To share different seasons that we have input. e.g. I have input 1971 MLB season and friend hasn't. Can we reduce our keystrokes and time involved in entering teams and players. Thanks

Yes, you can use data sharing. See the following link:

fyi... in the case of previous year's MLB rosters, if you happen to use the MLB Rosters subscription ($19.99), you actually get access to all previous year rosters of all MLB teams back to 1950. It's not something we advertise much, but it can save you a ton of typing, so may be worth the cost to you to save the time of having to type all the teams / names.

Does that mean the seasons are $19.99 ? I cannot justify that per season. Primarily interested in 60's through mid 70's. And if the $19.99 applys toward all seasons how do I add their data files to the program? Thanks again. Marv

If you have the current season MLB rosters (now 2014), you will have access to all rosters from the 1950s through now. You would access them by going to Team Manager, selecting Discover, and selecting Retrosheet, then the year of the team you are looking for and the teams will be listed.
